Rest in Peace carries out high quality care of deceased persons. The special care aims partly to enable relatives to take a dignified farewell to the person who has died, and partly to give the person who died as dignified an end as possible. Victoria Wickman, who is also the company’s founder, performs all services.

Victoria Wickman, founder

Victoria has a degree in Political Science from the University of Stockholm, and has worked for many years with strategic management in the public sector. In 2019, Victoria made a career change and became a certified funeral director. She discovered, during her studies and in the subsequent work in the funeral business, that in Sweden there is little competence and capacity for carrying out post mortem cosmetics and reconstruction. She also noticed that this particularly affects relatives who do not get the opportunity to say farewell properly to the person who died. This is especially true in cases where the body of the deceased is injured.

For many, the absence of a proper farewell can exacerbate the grief that is already heavy and difficult. For that reason, Victoria chose to specialize in postmortem reconstruction in order to be able to offer those grieving an alternative. Victoria’s motto is that anyone who wants to should be able to properly say farewell to a family member or friend who died. For Victoria, it is also important that the deceased person is getting dignified and personal care.

Ethical values

Rest in Peace strives for the highest quality in all services provided. All aspects of work are carried out with the greatest respect, consideration and discretion in relation to the deceased and his/her relatives and friends.
